Child Bereavement UK: SEN advice

Child Bereavement UK.jpg
Although children with special educational needs often express their emotions and feelings differently, they have as much right to grieve as anyone else. Bereavement is a difficult process for everybody, and particularly so for young people who may have little sense of the permanence of death.

Child Bereavement UK provides valuable advice about how to help children and young people with special educational needs to grieve. An easy-to-follow information sheet is available and the website has links to other organisations who can help.

Visit the SEN web page or call the helpline on 01494 568900.
