Special Educational Needs and Disability Service - The SEND Lead Worker

SEND Lead Workers act as the key point of contact for children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities) and their families to help ensure their needs are supported and outcomes met through their My Plan.

The service is person-centred and seeks to build resilience so that children, young people and families can plan and make decisions themselves based on the lives they would like to lead.

To take a look at the latest SEND Lead Worker leaflet, please click here. The leaflet explains:

  • who the SEND Lead Workers are
  • their role and responsibilities, and
  • other areas of work they are involved in.

To speak to member of the SEND Team about your child's needs, you can contact Wiltshire Families and Children’s Services on 0300 456 0108 and select option 5.
