Summer SEND Activity Programme – New Inclusive Holiday Sessions

The summer holidays are here, and Inclusive Wiltshire is launching a brand new programme of fun, inclusive activities for children and young people with SEND. These sessions are designed for ages 8 to 19, following recent changes that allow older young people to join some of the sessions taking place across the county.
What’s Included
Each 2.5-hour session offers a mix of relaxed, person-centred activities, including:
• Sensory sport
• Crafts and creative activities
• Music time
• Chill and chat spaces
• And plenty more
Children and young people can join in with as much or as little as they like. If they prefer to spend time with a friend or a member of the team instead of taking part in a particular activity, that’s absolutely fine.
Support and Accessibility
The aim is to make every session welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable. If your child feels anxious about trying something new, there is the possibility of offering:
• A free taster session, or
• A greeter at the door to help them settle in
Please note that 1:1 support spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Session Times
• 10:00am to 12:30pm: For children and young people with lower support needs
(no 1:1 support required)
• 1:00pm to 3:30pm: For those with higher support needs (1:1 support available
where required)
Dates and Locations
Monday 27th July 2026 to Thursday 20th August 2026
Sessions will run across Wiltshire in:-
• Warminster
• Tidworth
• Marlborough
• Salisbury
• Melksham

The link takes parents and carers to the Inclusive Wiltshire page. From there:
1. Select Apply
2. You will be taken to the login page
3. Log in, or create an account if you do not already have one
Once logged in, you will need to return to your Inclusive Wiltshire account, where you originally completed the eligibility process. The holiday sessions are listed under Community Activities, and should be visible to all users.
