Children's Centre Consultation - Have Your Say

Wiltshire Council has opened a consultation to consider where children's centre services could be delivered.

Children’s centre services in Wiltshire are provided by two charities, Spurgeons and The RISE Trust. The service works with families and children to enable them to have a good start in life, offering support and activities which support them through times of stress and difficulty. As a result of changes to the service in 2016, the service now offers more provision in the community delivering in local venues and in homes.

Wiltshire Council is proposing more use of community venues such as community halls, libraries, campuses and leisure centres, and is asking for people's views to inform decisions on how children’s centre services should look in Wiltshire.

The consultation is open from 23rd January to 20th March 2019, and responses are encouraged from parent carers and other stakeholders including local childcare business/providers, libraries, churches, leisure centres, parish councils and trustees of community halls.

You can complete an online questionnaire by clicking [HERE] or attend a consultation session.
