School Transitions Courses

What makes a successful transition from nursery to primary or primary to secondary school? Family and Community Learning have 2 courses that will help answer the question.

Transitions Early Years: Friday 18th June, 10:00-12:00 (5 x 2hr sessions) (see flyer for more info)

Transitions Secondary: Friday 18th June, 10:00-12:00 (5 x 2hr sessions) (see flyer for more info)

When transitions work well they help children and young people to develop confidence and acquire skills to manage future changes in their lives. The vast majority of children and young people look forward to moving on in learning and in life. For some children transitions can be challenging and support from parents and staff at school can help the transitions go more smoothly. Each young person is individual and therefore the solutions will be individual.
