TESCO’s ‘Quiet Hour’ is Now Permanent

TESCO has announced that its ‘quiet hour’ scheme for vulnerable shoppers is now being kept in place across its stores permanently.


The supermarket will dim the lights and lower the noise of its checkouts from 9am until 10am, every Wednesday and Saturday, going forward. Tesco says the scheme is designed to help those with hidden disabilities in its stores, as well as elderly people.
