Children’s Centres

Children's centres provide a wealth of advice and support for parents and carers. Their services are available to you from pregnancy right through to when your child goes into reception class at primary school.

Wiltshire Children's Centres

From 1 July 2016 children's centre services will be delivered in 17 dedicated children's centre buildings in areas of highest need while in other areas the staff will deliver the services from a range of community settings at flexible times to meet local need. All children's centre services will be linked to one of four geographical clusters with clear ways of accessing help and advice. Spurgeons will deliver children's centre services in the east, west and south of Wiltshire while The RISE Trust will deliver services in the north. Future of Children's Centre Services Announced

Having undertaken a wide ranging consultation on proposals for delivering the services which are designed to improve outcomes for young children and their families, and reduce inequalities in children's life chances, Wiltshire Council have announced who will deliver Children's Centre services over the next few years.

Windmill Hill Children’s Centre, Tidworth – new FREE courses for Parent Carers

1. English as a second language (ESOL) course for parent carers and family members starts June 13th 2016.
A chance to gain confidence in your English speaking and written skills in a relaxed and informal setting.

2. Pram to Primary Parenting Course September 2016
Learn new strategies to manage your child’s behaviour. Ring to book your place for this course which is starting in September 2016. Dates to be confirmed.
