What we do - Events - WPCC’s Next Information Event - Save The Date!

We are delighted to announce that we are taking bookings for the WPCC’s Next Information Event which will take place on Friday 2nd February 2024 at The Civic Centre, Trowbridge. This event will run from 9.30am to 2.00pm (Registrations from 9.30am, event starts at 10.00am).

As usual, a key feature of our event will be our ‘Market Place’, where we anticipate over 30 services and providers across the local area will showcase their offer. Free refreshments will be available throughout the day for everyone who attends.

We will be offering a free workshop at this event to help parent carers to take away some practical tips and strategies. Please see the [WPCC's Pre-Event Information Booklet] for information about the workshop. Places for the workshop will be limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

There will also be a key note presentation at the beginning of the event presented by Wiltshire Council Head of Commissioning, giving an update on parent carer engagement and what is happening as a result of your collective voice.

The Pre-Event Information Booklet gives early information about what to expect from the event. Information in the booklet includes: -
• Information about stands confirmed by beginning of January 2024 (more are anticipated as we get closer to the event).
• Information about the workshop.
• A draft agenda.
• Links for booking places.

Parent carers will be able to claim car parking, travel and childcare expenses if attending the event.
