KIDS- New SEND Resources to support families

KIDS vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to a community which includes them and their families.
KIDS works with disabled children, young people and their families. As part of the ‘Making it Personal: 2’ project, sponsored by the Department of Education, KIDS has worked with a number of partners to develop a new suite of resources to explore how personal budgets and the local offer will benefit families. The aim is to offer both guidance and information on the many reforms to Special Educational Needs and Disability provision.
The suite includes:
- Information on personal budgets
- Direct payments
- Joint working between health, education and social care
