The Wiltshire Hearing and Vision Team

The Wiltshire hearing and vision team provide services to people who are visually impaired, deaf, have acquired hearing loss or are deafblind.


The team consists of the following members:-

  • Social workers qualified in BSL (British Sign Language)
  • Rehabilitation officers who work with the visually impaired (ROVL)
  • Rehabilitation officers who work with people who are hearing impaired (ROHI)
  • Dual sensory specialists who are experienced in dual sensory issues, BSL and clear speech
  • Specialist management.
  • Information and contact officers who are responsible for referrals for assessment, dealing with enquiries and signposting to other agencies.
