Autism-friendly cinema screenings

People with autism are often very sensitive to flashing lights and loud sound effects and this can make it hard for them to enjoy some forms of popular entertainment, including cinema screenings. Now, thanks to a joint initiative between autism charity Dimensions and ODEON and UCI cinemas, you can enjoy autism-friendly screenings at 80+ venues across the UK and Ireland. At these screenings:

  • The lights will be on low
  • The volume will be turned down
  • There will be no trailers at the beginning of the film
  • You'll be able to take your own food and drinks
  • You'll be able to move around the cinema

Autism-friendly screenings are available once a month.
