FREE Level 2 and 3 Courses for Learners Over the Age of 19

[Impact Futures] has secured further funding to deliver FULLY FUNDED courses with qualifications through their Adult Education Budget. Anyone aged 19+ can apply, regardless of their employment status.


Impact Futures are working with employers across all sectors to offer these courses to employees, volunteers and anyone accessing their services. The courses are specifically designed to raise knowledge and awareness of the subject area to assist them in their role, gain a nationally recognised certificate and to support others. They can be completed by staff, volunteers, friends, and family within your networks and community.

Courses with qualifications include: -
· Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
· Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
· Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
· Level 2 Certificate in Self Harm & Suicide Prevention
· Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition & Health
· Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes
· Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection

The funding expires at the end of July 2023 and spaces on the courses are limited; therefore, they are encouraging everyone to access the training as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Further funding to offer courses beyond this date is not guaranteed.

Eligibility criteria for Level 1 & 2 qualifications:
• Learners must be aged 19+
• Learners must not live in a ‘devolved postcode area’ If you are not sure if you live in a devolved postcode area please contact Impact Futures and they will check your postcode (devolved postcode areas are – Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Trafford, Tameside, Wigan, Cambridge, Peterborough, Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland, Hartlepool, Stockton On Tees, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Liverpool, Wirral, St Helens, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, North East Somerset, West Midland, London, West Yorkshire, Sheffield) Please use this link to check your postcode eligibility [Adult Education Budget (AEB) Overview for Learners - Impact Futures]
• Learners must have been a resident in the UK for at least 3 years, and be able to provide proof of ID / residency
• Learners can access the qualifications regardless of their employment status & earnings. They will be asked to provide proof of benefit or earnings as part of the enrolment process and AEB funding requirements.

Eligibility criteria for Level 3 Diploma’s

You must meet one of the below criteria:
• Age 19+ does not already have a full level 3 qualification or higher (i.e., HNC / HND / degree regardless of annual earnings
• Age 19+ does not earn more than £18,525 per year, regardless of qualifications already gained
• Age 19 – 23 does not already have a full level 3 qualification, regardless of earnings
• Funding is also assessed on your home postcode – you must meet one of the above criteria, and also live in a non-devolved postcode area

And all of the below criteria -
• Learners must work or volunteer for at least 16 hours per week in a role that is relevant to, and supports their chose qualification (i.e., to enrol on to the L3 Leadership qualification, Learners must be in a role where they are leading / managing other staff)
• Learners must be aged 19+
