Smart and Exploring Courses for adults needing additional support

[Money Smart], starts Monday 13th January 2025

This is a 5 x 2 hour session course supporting independent living skills, with a focus on spending more wisely. The course will take place at Paxcroft Mead Community Centre, 17 Hackett Place Hilperton BA14 7GW. To find out more, take a look at the course overview.

Booking for Money Smart closes on Friday 20 December due to the Christmas break so do please get in touch and get your bookings in. The mandatory induction for new learners is Monday 6th January before the first session on Monday 13th January. For further details on their Smart and Exploring Courses for adults needing additional support, please click [HERE]. The courses take place in small, friendly groups with experienced tutors. Courses support opportunities to practice communication and social skills. Learners progress along an individualised learner journey and feel a sense of achievement through each stage of the course according to their personalised goals. Learners need support in place during the course, and support workers need to be DBS checked.

FaCL funding criteria
Courses are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. Courses are no cost to learners if they are 19+, have been a resident in UK/EU for 3+ years, have less than 5 GCSEs grades A-C, in receipt of benefits, have a child with SEN and/ or a service family or they may have other issues that joining a course could help with.
